Tickets £7Multi instrumentalist Gavin Davenport has in a few short years since launching his solo career become “a major rising star of the folk scene” (R2 Magazine) and has very quickly established himself as one of the leading young singers of traditional English song. His recorded material has led to comparisons with artists such as Chris Wood, Jim Moray, Martyn Bennett and Tony Rose. His latest album ‘The Bone Orchard’ has been described as “one of the best releases of 2013″ (Bright Young Folk). Accompanying him is fiddle player Tom Kitching - a leading English folk musician who has worked with artists such as Pilgrims' Way, Jon Loomes, Gren Bartley, and Albireo.
